sole discretion that the animal is not being taken proper care of. The ownership
and responsibility belongs solely to the adopter. The adopter shall not sell,

animal at the adopter’s expense. If the terms of this contract are not upheld.
I
understand that the animal I am agreeing to adopt may or may not be altered and
vaccinations should be current but may need to be updated at the time of
adoption. You should not let your new pet come in contact with any other pets
for at least 14 days and practice good hygiene between handling each animal to
avoid spreading infectious diseases.
If
my new pet is not altered yet, I agree to alter him/her if appropriate. While
waiting for my new pet to be altered I will not allow my new pet to become
pregnant or impregnate any other animal. I will also update vaccinations at the
time of my new pets altering appointment. if applicable.
If
we have to demand your pet back because you neglected to adhere to this contract
it will be at your expense. Such expenses could range from vehicle rental, gas
and lodging if the transport of the animal is over 3 hours away from the county
where the animal is originally from.
The
said rescue cannot guarantee the health or the temperament of the animals
adopted from us. The said rescue shall not be held responsible for any defects
or illness which the animal may have or may develop. The adopter releases the
