Mike is the camp caretaker/manager. He is normally the only employee there, but on 
occasion there are others that may answer the home/camp number. Mike’s mobile does not work well at the camp/Mike’s home. It is a rural area. Please do your best in contacting Mike. Email is probably the quickest, but in the case of an emergency regarding wildlife or an animal at large, please call, call, call – do not email. Quick response is often needed for animals in need! Texting is ok and reliable as well.
From Memorial Day to Labor Day Mike is working 60-80 hour weeks and may be slow to respond to your call. Mike apologizes for the inconvenience, but again, He is the only full time employee at the camp!
Cell Phone etiquette: Mike does not know what the normal thoughts are when it comes to calling people these days, but if you call but do not leave a message – He will not call you back! Please leave a message with your name, county, and why you are calling.
If you call and only leave your name and do not tell us why you are calling – He will not call you back!
Please Leave your name, phone number, and a brief reason for your call – i.e you have an animal that needs to be surrendered to the rescue, or you found a baby raccoon in your back yard, etc.
