Education...
So Why Educate?
We at Wild Rescue One believe that education is the key to the future. Today's Youth are Tomorrow's Leaders. They need to be armed with the knowledge to better our world. Proper understanding of Conservation, Biology, and the Natural World needs to begin at a young age. Schools today are focused to highly on the Ohio Educational Exams that have requirements for Reading and Math. Other subjects, especially science, are put on the "back burner" and taught as time allows.
Wild Rescue One can provide Educational Presentations for Schools, Business Professionals, Law Enforcement, Rescue and EMS, or anyone else interested!
Wild Rescue One desires to be an Educational Outlet to provide accurate information regarding our Native Wildlife, Exotics and Other Types of Animals. Wild Rescue One has experience in conducting presentations to groups of all sizes, age, and educational background.
Wild Rescue One can tailor the presentation to fit your needs, but generally we maintain a group of reptiles used for educational presentations. Typical presentation lasts about 1 hour. We discuss the animals brought, background information of where their native home is, what they eat, etc. All animals may be touch by those participating. We will not allow anyone to hold the animals by themselves! We do use any live native wildlife in our presentations, but can use pictures, study skins, and skulls to achieve the same result. Our presentations are a great way for people to learn about animals, see them, touch them, that otherwise, may never experience in their lifetime. Through a better understanding of the feared reptile, such as snakes, or native wildlife will better our world for the animals!

Update
New Laws set forth by the Ohio Department of Health says basically that no animals can be used in presentations inside the school building in classrooms with children under the age of 5, ie, preschools. It does, however, not ban the use of animals for outdoor presentations. So at this point Wild Rescue One can only do classroom presentations for at the Kindergarten level and up and Pre-school presentations can be held outdoors. Sorry for the inconvenience!
